MoPars were mighty long before GTO's and Boss Mustangs. The 1962 Plymouth and Dodge Max Wedge that cleaned house at the strips could be bought off of the local dealer's lot. Unfortunately, these hot machines didn't have visibility until Chrysler Corp.'s design and marketing forces caught the fever but once they did, there was the Dodge sheriff, the Road Runner, mod colors, wings and Hemi engines.
