Stainless-steel tilt tube for 1955-66 4/6-cylinder Mercury outboards. On 1955-60 models, choose between the original 3/4" OD (for installations where the steering cable does not go through the tilt tube) or 7/8" to accept modern cables where through-the-tube steering rigging is desired (Your clamp brackets and swivel saddle will have to be bored out to accept the larger tube)

1961 and later motors all use the larger 7/8" tube. Kit includes (2) stainless lock nuts and (4) bearing washers/shims
