These special washers and nuts facilitate expansion and contraction of the manifold assembly. The bridging (triangular) washers span the intake and exhaust flanges and apply more pressure to intake than exhaust. To accommodate this, the intake casting flanges are slightly thicker than the exhaust flanges and should be maintained as such. Keep a minimum of 1/16" clearance around all bridging washers. Refer to the vehicle's factory service manual for more information

Includes: (8) cast bridging washers; (3) cast conical washers; (2) brass washers; (2) stainless-steel lock nuts; (11) stainless-steel hex nuts
